In the first class, I need to write a letter as follow
You are pretending that it is 20 years from now and you are writing to your younger self (today's self) and telling yourself all the wonderful things that have occurred because you followed your dreams.
This is what my response was :
Hey Abhishek,
Hope you are doing fine. Still working on some assignments /projects?
You should put your efforts now and try to do your best. This is due to your hard and diligent work I reached here and enjoying every moment of life. Life is tough sometimes but when you will come out of this and look backwards you will clearly see what you have achieved after putting these efforts.
Updates from my side are that I have owned my software company ‘Ram Systems’ based in our native city Chandausi. Though based in a small town of India, this company is doing excellent in terms of revenue generation. This is always your dream to settle in your home town and give back to your town which gave you firm roots in terms of excellent education, culture and best environment to learn. The benefit of this is that now educated people need not move to metros and your town is making a lot of progress. I am also planning to setup a branch in Allahabad so that NIT, Allahabad students can work while studying in the college. I know that you are quite impressed by the academic environment in US and I am just trying to implement the same in India.
As far as my social life is considered, I am well settled with my wife and two kids. The most important part is that I am living with my parents. I often have business visits to Delhi for some meetings with clients but rest of my life is full of fun. I am putting 1 hr in Gym and half an hour in Gardening. I think I have visited pretty much every part of India as my wife also loves traveling. We used to go for trip every month at least for 2-3 days along with my parents.
It may seem like a dream to you. But, dude this is reality. This is due to your efforts I reached here. The foremost important thing is that never stop dreaming. These are your dreams due to which I am here.
